Sharon holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and has been a private tutor for more than five years. She specializes in reading, writing, handwriting and math. She has worked in Special Education in both Douglas County and Cherry Creek Schools.
Prior to teaching she was as an ophthalmic technician specializing in retina, glaucoma, and refractive surgery; she worked in oil and gas; and worked to design and sew ballet costumes for full-length ballet productions when her girls were involved in ballet. She has two daughters, one son-in-law, and one adorable grandson. Over the years she has entertained a menagerie of pets ranging from sea horses to rescue dogs.
While she loves all aspects of teaching, Sharon most enjoys teaching reading, and finding creative ways to help her students achieve their goals. She look forward to helping each and every new student she meets.
