Patricia Foust

Elementary Teacher / Special Educator

Patricia is a master teacher with 35 years of experience.  Her career was spent working as a Special Education teacher whose areas of expertise include Dyslexia, Autism and Attention Deficit Disorder.  

She holds her BA in Special Education and MS in Psychology and Learning Disabilities.  Her extensive training, experience and love for teaching is what drives her to continue to reach out and work with children.  Patricia loves teaching using a multi-sensory approach. She also watching students writing skills flourish using a Writer’s Workshop.  

Her personal interests of Art History, English History and Interior Decorating frequently sneak into her lesson building.  In addition, she is an avid reader, seamstress, cook and enjoys vintage movies and travel.
