Julie Dani
Elementary Teacher/ Special Educator
Julie Dani has a BS in Education with and emphasis in language arts from the University of Texas and an MS in Special Education from the University of Kansas. She has additional training in school leadership from the University of Denver. Julie has received specialized literacy training through the Wilson Reading System, Thinking Strategies Institute and is a certified Orton-Gillingham therapist, with advanced training.
Her teaching career over the past 20 years has included work in public, private and non-profit educational settings as a classroom teacher, interventionist, teacher trainer, administrator and educational consultant. Julie loves all aspects of teaching, but is particularly passionate about working with students 1:1 and in small groups.
Julie loves using research-based, systematic, multi-sensory methods to support students with learning differences on their journey to become successful readers. Julie also believes in connecting learning to students’ unique learning styles and interests in order to make learning motivating, engaging and effective.
In her free time, Julie loves spending time with her husband and two young daughters, being out in nature, reading and cooking.
