Stephanie Fowler
Principal / Founder
Stephanie brings a unique blend of experience from 16 years of working in both the world of education and business. She holds degrees in Elementary Education and Spanish/Linguistics as well as a Masters Degree in Education. She has been a teacher in Denver Public Schools, is a parent of two boys who currently attend school DPS and has worked in the educational field where her knowledge of educational best practices were the driving forces of the business decisions. She believes that through collaboration, bonds of trust are built between students, educators and parents that allow for sound educational goals and outcomes to be accomplished.
Stephanie understands that every family needs to make unique educational decisions based on their particular set of circumstances. There is not a straightforward “right way” to educate our children. It is necessary to consider each individual child and their learning style, strengths and needs in order to make sound decisions.
Currently, Stephanie sits on the CSC (Collaborative School Committee) at Merrill Middle School where her oldest son attends school. She also enjoys volunteering in a variety of ways at Steele Elementary where her son is enjoying the 5th grade, and looks forward to him attending Denver School of the Arts as a 6th grader next year and challenges that will bring.
Outside of work and family time, you will find Stephanie spending time with her “third child” – her road bike – Pepe. She enjoys riding across Denver, Boulder and in the mountains. In fact, anywhere there’s a good climb, you’ll find her there. It’s her way of making a greater connection to the natural world and all the wonderful people in her life. If you don’t find her on a ride, she’s probably trying to learn a new song to play on guitar.
